• Dear Bidder: The International Labor Office (ILO) is calling for an external consultant to provide specialized technical assistance in the application of the Quick Guide for Sectoral Prioritization, in order to promote the transition to formal economy in Peru. This consultancy is part of the regional Joint Program “Transition to the formal economy with emphasis on increasing productivity and improving working conditions in economic sectors prioritized in Latin America and the Caribbean” (RLA/24/05/EUR - 110130), financed by the European Union. The main objective is to methodologically accompany the tripartite constituents in a structured, participatory and evidence-based process to select in a manner consensus on a priority economic sector that promotes formalization in the country. The main activities include: the contextualized review and adaptation of the Guide; the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information pre-identified sectors; the application of criteria and methodological weightings; the development of a sector prioritization matrix; and the facilitation of a tripartite validation process.
