• Consulting for the development of a method for measuring productivity gaps and working conditions and the preparation of a sector study within the framework of the Joint Program on transition to the formal economy (Peru) Estimado licitante, La Oficina International Labor Organization (ILO) seeks to hire an external consultant to provide specialized technical assistance in the development and validation of a method for measuring productivity gaps and working conditions, including aspects related to safety and health at work, as well as in the preparation of a sector study in an economic sector, value chain or cluster with the potential to promote the transition to the formal economy in Peru. The consultancy is carried out in the framework of the regional Joint Program “Transition to the formal economy with emphasis on increasing productivity and improving working conditions in prioritized economic sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean”, financed by the Union European and implemented by the ILO in collaboration with CAF and ECLAC. The consultant will develop a methodological proposal that allows identifying and analyzing productivity gaps and working conditions in productive sectors, including indicators, analysis tools and possible sources of information. Likewise, it will apply the methodology developed to carry out a sector study that identifies the main gaps and their associated factors, generating evidence that contributes to the design of sectoral formalization strategies.
