Description:
Tenders are invited for Works for Taxes Study - Peru. This consultancy aims to undertake a market-demand analysis of the Peruvian Obras por Impuestos mechanism (WT) and to identify the challenges, barriers, and opportunities for IFC-s role in supporting the mechanism to unlock infrastructure private sector financing at the sub-national level. IFC-s focus sectors for this consultancy are water and sanitation, waste management, transport, communications, energy, health, and education.The result of this consultancy will identify if there is a space to leverage IFC-s financing, project development, and technical assistance support to further stimulate WT in Peru. The consultancy will also determine options for IFC-s interventions that respond to the specific needs and barriers faced by the companies involved or interested in using WT. Finally, it will provide a comprehensive roadmap and action plan for the short-, medium-, and long-term actions required to implement the identified IFC interventions.
